I don't think they will vaporize in flight but they will definitely be destructive on game and lack penetration. If you y high BC and penetration, consider the 200 gr AB or PT.

When I had a 300 WSM the 180 gr PP worked very well in it, it was super accurate. At normal ranges you won't see a difference between the two in the field. Here are what they both look like.

jdn, Nosler's latest (#6) manual list 72.5gn RL22 for the 200gn bullet and 75.5gn for the 180gn. What I normally do is add these two up then divide by 2 to get the 190gn max load of RL22 (i.e. 72.5 + 75.5 = 148. Take 148.0 divide by 2 = 74.0gn). Works for me.
