May 12, 2021 · Wondering if it has the typical Gibson/Epiphone 17.5mm or the narrower 16mm or whatever it is that’s more common on the violin basses (Horner, Rogue, etc). Ernie Ball’s are very well made. The VP jr 250k is a standard passive pedal where the MVP offers a boost of 20db which is geared more for guitars and costs a hundred more. The range is 35.5" to 34” scale with the low B @ 35.5” and the high G @ 34” with E - A - D strings in between. For me, the acclimation to multi-scale fanned frets was pretty quick.The Agro is one of my favorite pedals. I used it to replace a VT Bass pedal that I just couldn't get to settle in despite many attempts. The Agro is way more versatile and useable IMHO thanks to the very easy but poweful Contour and Presence knobs. You really don't need Low/Mid/Hi EQ control on the pedal at all.
