The rear axle has a tag but is not stamped with a manuf name. The tag has this info: S - 406 B. 73 10 S 8F16.if your rear end is a full floater (large hub sticking out in center of wheel) than you likely have a F250 heavy duty, meaning the front axle is a Dana 50. if your rear end is a semi floater (flat in center of wheel - no hub) than you likely have a standard F250, meaning the front axle is a Dana 44.
