Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. The A/T III will do fine with a spec of 8" minimum.

He may not have realized it, but the installer did some pretty serious trimming of the fender well. This truck replaces our 2019 F250 XL Crew Cab 4x4 truck that we purchased in December 2019. It is extremely similar but shorter! It has the 148" wheelbase vs the 160" wheelbase and the total length (bumper to bumper) is under 20ft! I plan to go with the real 35" x 12.50 size on some custom offset wheels, the stock tires and wheels are pizza cutters. In the Jeep Wrangler world they say 37s over 35 are a deal breaker for a daily driver. These trucks will run a 35 in stock form. I have 37s on mine right now. It has 2.5" ready lift all the way around. My 37s are on 20x10 Fuel Mavericks. Tires are Mickey Thompson Deegan 38s (they are called a 38, but are actually a 37). The stock factory 275-65-20 has roughly 7 inches as a comparison.
