It's as slick as you can get on the front. Put them on ur belt not the carrier. Back in the day, for a plate carrier, we ran single stack mag pouches in the front and really only 3. We tried to keep the front as slick as possible. Three mag shingle on the front, two on the cummerbund and one on your belt.
