The first 60 questions of AAMC CARS qpack 1 are known for being notoriously difficult and not at all representative of the real exam. There are people on this subreddit who have gotten less than 50% correct on the first half of that qpack and ended up with CARS scores of 130+ on the actual MCAT. I do not recommend skipping ANY AAMC material ...If you are pressed for time don't worry but its good to judge your content knowledge. I was about 95% correct for bio qpack 1 if you care about percentages. Practice is practice. Yeah, UWorld is similar difficulty to section bank. more content-based. I haven't done any AAMC material yet but supposedly it's a lot more about comprehending passages than it is about spitting out stuff you've memorized.

UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. I've been getting 70-80% on UWorld, which I think agrees with my FL1 CARS score of 127. Keep in mind I've also done all of TPR 2016, EK101, and NS108. Those r pretty decent scores for uworld (which i feel is just a wee bit harder than aamc), but like the other commenter said, reviewing is the most important part. Alt is great! Everyone says they’re “harder” and to expect deflated scores compared to AAMC, my ALT scores were INFLATED. Your CARS and PS subscores will be all over the fucking place because they aren’t representative. Alt science is very good highly recommend. Cars is not good don’t recommend doing that. Worth it.

If you have to choose between UWorld and the AAMC QPs then you should absolutely do UWorld (except for with CARS). AAMC = gold standard. Do these, but anyone on this site will vouch for UWorld's excellent explanations. Their passages are also quite difficult, which makes for good practice.
