Value should be 0.11 - 0.17 ohm (1-ohm scale). Start the bike and measure the voltage on across the same white wires and it should be 54V or more (250v scale).If your 1500 vulcan won't start... It's not the sidestand switch, if it won't start. It just won't run with sidestand "down" and in gear, with the clutch out. So here's the troubleshoot. First check the battery voltage. I always shut the Vulcan down in neutral due to the key being down on the clutch side. Seen to many guys use the kill switch to shut down and forget to turn the key to off and deplete the battery. I press the starter button and it does not turn over at all. If I keep pressing the button several times it may start eventually. Once it turns over it starts easy enough.
