Many maps that have high mob count and would be suitable for exp grinding are sub par for meso farming due to platform layout, needing to zigzag a bunch, or needing reset on ladders and ropes which is very slow with spawn enhancers.

You are still able to farm at ulu with a bit of a meso penalty, so I definitely wouldn't consider moving to DDS3. DDS3 is for level 200+ and the meso rates there are significantly less than your ulu rates right now.
