The base color is a slight mixture of red and brown, looks red but a brown cast to it resembling motor oil. This example is another (red/brown) that does fit into the other red based family types. Dave, this is a (prime) example of a Peltier that is a tad bit harder to find. This has the inner/outer composition of a beautiful green family type probably being an earlier type of a possible NLR. When Peltier played with this (green) color, you may find MANY shades and concentrations of this in lots of family types. Chuck G---.

Paula's is definitely a better quality Rainbo, but not a Citrus. The OP's marble seems to have green ribbons on a clear base, which suggests a Citrus, but it also has Rainbo traits. I've been separating marbles for about a month now. I'm starting to think I'm in over my head! Thanks again! Keep at it! It took me about seven months to be able to ID mibs accurately beyond Marble King, Pelt (Rainbos and slags only, still struggle with multicolor swirls and patches), and Vitro... But I still struggle with swirls, of course.We will start with the ribbon colors of blue and pink/coral which you will find on these base colors, transparent, translucent and white opaque. These bases will have (color) to some of them. It is like yours shown in the photo, however some are easily found verses other colored bases. The brown opaque base shown is one of the hardest too find ...Yep - that's an earlier Peltier NLR with the added bonus of the transparent blue. Very desirable marble. Give it a soap & water cleaning with a paper towel and see if some crud comes off the surfaces; it looks slightly dirty.Yes, the 2nd marble is also a Peltier Rainbo. Both circled in the photo are (Peltier Peerless Patches) I am very aware of the Virtos and some have the yellow patch but in comparison, they are different.
