I just found this question. It was a very last minute trip we planned and of course, over the Christmas holidays we had few options.
5. Re: Health of the coral reefs in St. John USVI. Theres been much degradation but St John underwater world almost definitely remains above average without getting into SCUBA destinations. All the reefs, worldwide, are dying. Enjoy what's remaining and please do what you can to protect our natural splendor.6 years ago. There may be jet ski rentals at the Westin on St John. You should check with them. Sapphire Marina probably has best, but not sure who has that business now. It may still be Dive In! So google so you can see if their tour will be available.
