Haven't seen anything like that. Since ppto is a requirement in some states to cover any and all pay/penalties its easier for Walmart to have a generic baseline use it how you like approach.

In order to not be pointed, you need to use enough PPTO to cover the entire time you'll be missing (don't cover the lunch break if you're missing the entire shift), to make it simple just use the "full day" option and it'll use the right amount automatically.
