The 512GB is just an OEM Samsung SSD that you can get for US$400. That way you can update the firmware and see if that's the issue. I still think it's a SSD firmware issue, and since SanDisk doesn't provide the firmware, it's up to HP to provide it. But anyway, Beats works in Windows 7.
