The different component that allows the M17/18 P320s to have a manual safety might require a little work to a “non” manual safety FCU though (which is what the custom works is). Sure, it has black controls. The similarities end there. The M17 Commemorative and M17 Surplus (the only "real" M17) both have the proper FCU markings, slide (inside and out), extractor spring guide, barrel, sights, etc., all of which are different on the "M17-320/ M17 Commercial". The M17 Commercial has black controls.It is luck of the draw. My X-compact had a better trigger than my AXG Classic or AXG Pro, and an M17 came through the shop that had an amazing trigger. The P320 X-Fives that have come through have had mediocre triggers, too, and the few folks that have ponied up the bread for the Custom Werks FCU have been underwhelmed.
