The slugs cycle better that the buckshot. Buckshot like to "stand up" on the elivater, slugs did too just not quite as much. To prevent jamming you have to cycle slow and gentle. I would like to find a way to modify the gun to cycle mini's a little better. Keep your powder dry, the red dawn is near.

But, I don't believe Benelli makes one that is 1" shorter, which is the only one worth changing to. I also am not a fan of pistol grip shotguns. For me, the pistol grip slows down transitions.

I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid.
