Professor Friedman's Econ301 class was one of the first econ classes at UW. I took AP micro so I didn't have to take 101 and I was worried I would struggle. Classes were engaging and his encouragement made class fun. Exams were hard, but aside from the calc nothing crazy. Use office hours, it knocked out all my homework. I recommend this class

Professor Malavis is an exceptional teacher. He knows the topics from A - Z and he does not spend any time with his face in a text book during lectures.
