Most of the time it will crank for about 20-30 seconds then start. Occasionally it will crank for half a second then shut off and when it does this it always starts right up as normal. We experience these starting issues frequently (every 3rd start +/-) but not any specific pattern.I have a 2005 Durango 5.7, 181,000+ miles. Runs good.
