It’s been awhile since I’ve had a puppy but it was probably more like 1 cup per meal. As they get older and grow, then you start cutting back on the food.

The worst thing that could happen is that the bleeding could progress to a prolapse urethra. He did not have that "YET" so the vet suggested to fix him.
