The prices you quoted are old ( Paris has not updated its website). A few months ago, cabanas and villas were $200/$250 Monday through Thursday, and did not include any booze. They are now $300/$400 (more Fri - Sun), and they throw in your choice of bottle. I am definitely a pool person, and was seriously considering the cabana.

The view is slanted to the left of the window. The Eiffel Tower room has a direct view to the strip, so it includes view of the Bellagio Fountain. When you get to Paris just go and try to check in, if they have availability they might just give you your keys or there could be a small fee. I think Bally's had a sign up saying they were charging $20 last fall for check in before 2pm, I checked in around noon with no issue or fee, though.
