I was told similar and did not have a car or insurance at the time. The SA suggested getting insurance for a day to test drive (apparently car insurance companies will do that for this scenario) or get insurance on a family members plan temporarily. I never actually went through with the test drive as that seemed like such a hassle.

Now open to the public, this is where visitors to the Tesla Centre Cyberjaya can have a hands-on experience with Tesla vehicles although no test drive session will be offered for now.
