Yeah I saw that one claiming to be able to write amiibos on serveral online tuts, turns out the app store gives it less than a 1 star review, and the tuts online are either fake or are some kid of "ad" for nxp. The NFC Tools app I mentioned is the only one in the app store so far that seems to be able to read amiibo format.

I got something called powertag with powersaves for amiibo from Amazon for like 20 dollars, but there's probably cheaper options now.
