Serene Reshade Preset. Aug 13, 2023. This is my custom reshade preset that I have been using in my game recently. It took me a while to get it exactly how I wanted it, but I can now confidently say that I think it's perfect. I highly recommend installing Softerhaze's Sunblind lighting mod in conjunction with this reshade preset.

Take note that any third party software, like MSI Afterburner / RivaTuner, can conflict with ReShade, so try to disable them. If the game uses DirectX 11, try renaming every "dxgi" file to "d3d11". The google answer to this is " First, with the Control Panel open, head down to the “Tools” Tab, and go right ahead and click “Uninstall GShade ". I don't want to REMOVE gshade, just have the ability to disable it before running an instance of the game, and then re-enable the next time I run it, for example. Thanks for any tips you can offer.

There was an incident in early Feburary 2023 where a poor decision was made by GShade's sole developer. Currently, Alive 5 is out and improved performance even more while using less GPU power. Framerate isn't an issue for me with a Ryzen 5800X3D/3080 TI combo at 1440p and the game looks 100x better. Usually around 120-140fps with it on. Check out Alive 5 Gshade preset on Nexusmods. Feb 28, 2021 · Gshade had an unlocked Z buffer, which the add-on version of reshade also uses, and this is mandatory to allow shaders to work in FFXIV without bugs. Unfortunately is dead, however the add-on version of reshade is almost identical however lacks some of the FFXIV specific shaders such as those for the UI.
