List per 110 lb wheel weight part# T19293 was $277.64 and I bought them for $250.57 ($2.28 per lb) with the Green Farm Parts 5% discount for GTT members.More torque, too. Very close in physical size and maneuverability. The 601 will have live hydraulics. (Check to see if it has a square-bodied vane pump or a round-bodied piston pump. Piston pumps are better.) Lack of live hydraulics on the 8N is why I won't own one. I've converted all my engines and vehicles to it. On my 1983 Benz diesel, I mix 5w30 and 15w50 to get its 10w40.The 8N with a side distributor would be the best of the N series. I still have my grandpas 8N, it's a late 1952. It's one of the last ones made. It was last overhauled in the early '70s and still does some occasional work running an auger. They were good tractors for their time, but their time is long past.
