It is not dead but since there are few people left playing it, new players gets matched up with seasoned ones thus matchmaking just doesnt work as intented at all. I really only play on PC for the few friends that have it on PC. They all play with mouse and keyboard and our scores vary widely. I use mouse and keyboard. Controller on PC is strictly inferior for everything except one specific playstyle, and that is sitting still, crutching the aim-assist on an assault rifle. Attrition is great because it's a little bit of everything that Titanfall has to offer; pilot vs pilot, titan vs titan, David vs Goliath, grunts, camping is anti productive for a team. To me it's what make Titanfall what it is. I know there are people that really like other game modes, but Attrition is still my favorite.Use Nuclear Eject because it is the only titan where you are within melee range of enemy titans all the time. So when you are doomed you can get alot of titan kills with Nuclear Eject. If you kill a titan you get another titan. So while you will still die after two encounters you will get more titans so it balances out.
