Sp20 wads.

The biggest problem is finding a wad that'll work. The only real readily available one ounce wad is the Rem SP20, which is highly priced and overly fragile (wad explodes into fragments when firing). Alot of powders suitable for one ounce are so dense that even with the correct amt of shot, if you use a sp20 wad, they crimps dish WAYY inBut, if you're looking for a 20ga load for a young shooter to learn reloading and shoot dove, skeet and crow with, you might want look at a 7/8 oz load using Rem hulls, Alliant 20/28 powder, and Clay Buster 7/8 oz wads. It's got less recoil and lower cost than the 1 oz load, and its a little easier to load. Only as a matter of interest, I have some "old" Power Piston wads that have the shot cup of the RXP 20 wad with the spacer/compressable area of the SP 20 wad. I suspect thay are a wad designed for the old high base plastic Remington hull of 30 years or so back.

Those are loads that are supposedly safe with any hull/wad combination so long as you use the called for charge of powder with a non-magnum primer for the given shot weight. No guarantees crimps are going to be pretty.
