The same thing happens with Miles Eckhart missions, if someone manages to get to him before you the mission is withdrawn. Also his "kill X" bounty hunter missions can be failed if someone else manages to kill the target before you. Try going to another server/another region, he will eventually try to contact you again.
Prospector Mining Scanner not working. BUG. Ive been trying to mine and when i scan rocks it doesnt show the red and green bar- ive tried this on multiple rocks and it doesnt work on nearly all of them; the ones it does work on stop working after i break them once. Yes and no. No: Asteroid mining has a bug where some rocks cannot be scanned. Yes: Go mine on Lyria, and don't waste your time in Aaron Halo/others. Lyria has bigger and better rocks. All rocks are scannable there. Search for cluster/chunk of rocks there, a cluster will always be Quantanium rocks. Try to enable HD using the "Toggle HD Mode" icon where the program is installed (it'll make you restart your pc). Also you have to see an ad in the phone to enable the HD in the free version, I think. I did that and now it works, kinda bad, but it works. Turned out that mine was trying to use my VIVE as the camera.
The authenticator sometimes breaks on the site but works fine on the game. On the site, clear your cookies then make sure you set the login time. Leaving it on the default of 'pick a duration' causes the authentication to fail. If that doesn't work, switch it IE/Edge or Firefox and do it there. That always works for me.

Pressed 'M' into mining mode, couldn't turn the laser on by left clicking, and couldn't switch between the fracture and extraction modes by right clicking.

Im having trouble in my mole getting a ping or a scan to happen. I can get into scan mode or into mining mode but can't seem to get a ping or scan to go even with default keybindings. Not sure what I'm missing. Yip known issue. Shoot them, if they absorb the shot then they are scannable. if the shots travel through then they are not loaded in.
