Mine is a little different in that most of the times it occurs from 1200-2000 rpms. But can occur at highway speeds IF you are accelerating (gently IE: not jumping on it). If it only happens when going up a hill around 30 mph that is a symptom of a worn CV axle. I'd expect around a $400-$500 repair at a shop. Other things that would be performance related could be transmission or ignition coil but both of those would usually turn on check engine light.
