The artificer got its heart gem back and, prior to a long rest, discussed with the DM how they thought that they could bring the homunculus back immediately because the infusion was already known. The DM allowed it at the time and said they'd look into it. A Homunculus knows everything it's master knows, according to it's description: Shared Mind. A homunculus knows everything its creator knows, including all the languages the creator can speak and read. Likewise, everything the construct senses is known to its master, even over great distances, provided both are on the same plane.If you or the homunculus dies, it vanishes, leaving its heart in its space. So, if it dies, just pick yo the gem/crystal and you can reuse it after the next long rest when making your infusions. It is only consumed if the spell says it is consumed. Level your artificer up to 6, replace one of your level 2 infusions with the homunculus, level back down. It will have red text saying you shouldn't have it but it wont actually remove it and it will show up on your character sheet. Also note that the stat block in the infusion and extras tab is not updated either so it doesn't show the PB ...

Both already scale off the Artificer's proficiency bonus and level. Arcane Jolt as written should be compatible with the Homunculus Servant.
