If you upgrade all the weapons you get from this mod, to MK3, they'll be linked to your account no matter if you remove the mod later. Came across this while trying to remedy the Optical Camo. Unfortunately, didn't fix the optical camo yet. But you keep the guns if you upgrade it. It will be enough to get you most of the camo upgrades but still not enough to max the camo out completely.
