In light of recent events surrounding the display of Nazi and Confederate symbolism by non-historic groups for the means of a political statement, the Ohio Valley Military Society has adopted a new set of rules for all of its shows (SOS, MAX, and Wilmington, OH) that will go into effect immediately.The Ohio Valley Military Society is one the oldest and largest Militaria collector's clubs in the world with over 4,000 current members. The primary endeavor of the Society is to promote the study and collecting of historic military artifacts by sponsoring three regularly scheduled shows a year in the Ohio Valley area.Dealers and collectors of militaria traveled from far and wide for the annual event known as the Show of Shows, and this year it was a big show indeed.
