With maxed out ascension and mastered blueprints, the top tier stones have 85% multicraft. 18 points of ascension is a relatively cheap way to get 1% surcharge. It depends where you are ingame. The reason you can't start over is because the game is more "Free to Play" in the beginning. If they let you delete your account you could actually enjoy the game forever without paying. They need to allow reset.
