Tried that, tried the owner's manual procedure (roll halfway down, roll back up and hold for 1 second) even tried rolling passenger side window down and holding for a couple seconds as outlined in some other similar posts.

There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. I'm guessing you can do it on your passenger side, too.
