It doesn't have the same aesthetic appeal as Mad Men which had all the 1960s sets and costumes, but it's character driven and has that realistic balance of humour and drama that made Mad Men really great. Some of the themes are similar too. Like in Mad Men, the characters are all morally grey and the show really stays away from being too didactic.
