Maybe you should look for something in the way of Ubiquiti or Omada routers or any other router that offers more management. I love my Fios connection, but Verizon support stops at the ONT's ethernet port. Go to advanced, network connections, broadband connection, settings and change the DNS to the local IP of your Pihole.
