Centaur are very warlike and raiders. I do Belo live they are modeled after the Huns. But even Mongols settled and developed cities, made allies, and abandoned the raiding mentality for a more home centric kinf of mentality. I believe centaurs could find that with the Horde. Tauren where nomadic, and Orcs where raiders and some where nomads. Draenei and every other race end up dying and the Scourge just collects the bodies of their dead, tosses them on meat wagons and brings them to Acherus where the Necromancers start resurrecting them. Finally: do not take someones word for what is canon in the lore and what isn't. People are absolutely incompetent at providing sources or properly interpreting material. Drain life, drain soul, seed of corruption, curses and what not are all necromanctic magic. Some of those are empowered with fel magic though but that costs a soul shard to use.
